My Garden

tomatoes-07.jpgMy Garden

Tomato View  and  Full View of my garden

Do you have a garden? Now a days with the price of food and the questionable quality of our food a garden is a great way to have a little bit of control over what you eat. It’s fun too! Even though picking weeds isn’t one of my favorite things to do, when I am doing it I feel really good. I’m out in the dirt, feeling the sun on my skin, and just being at one with nature. Now please know I’m not a master gardener by any means but that’s the beauty of gardening, you don’t have to know a lot about it to do it! Plant some seeds or go to the local garden store pick out your favorite summer veggies and/or herbs that are ready to go and plant them in a sunny area or if you don’t have a lot of room buy some pots and plant tomatoes, herbs, or even some strawberries. Water them frequently and in a few months depending on what you plant of course you will reap the benefits of your very own crop!

My favorite thing to grow and eat are tomatoes. You really can’t get the flavor and juiciness from a store bought tomato like you can from your very own garden. I will keep you posted on how my garden grows so keep watching for more on my garden and tips on gardening.

If you have a garden and would like to share some photos and/or tips please post them with a link to your photos. I would love to see them as would other readers I’m sure.

Until next time healthy wishes!
