I read a bunch of great tips for keeping babies out of the Christmas tree. Here are a few ideas: Put the tree in a playpen, surround the tree with cylinder bricks that are wrapped in Christmas paper or Put all the glass ornies high on the tree, and plastic ornaments on the lower branches.

Volunteer to bring the veggies to a party. Then you know you have a plan for eating right.

A great family gift idea that helps promote healthy living is a pass to the nature parks, or even zoo – why be stuck inside playing a video game or watching a movie when you can be out exploring? =)

Be safe as you hang your holiday lights. Someone I work with had a ladder slip out from under him last year and after several months in the hospital he is learning to walk again. Make sure that ladder is steady. It happens so quick…Be safe!
